The midweek team enjoyed a comfortable win over bottom of the table CSSC Emplex. Batting first we accrued a good total of 136 - 4 of which the main contributions were made by the Bevis brothers ( sounds like a pop duo ). Matt posted 48 and Danny 43 not out. This enabled 9 players to have a go with the ball and with a fair degree of success as wickets fell at regular intervals. The two best figures were recorded by John Mclellan with 2 for 4 from his 3 overs and Paul Fytche with 1 for 4 from 2 overs. On a pleasant summer's evening it was good that the game was spread amongst so many players.
