    Match Report

    A Last Ball single from last pair Paul Fytche and Paul Jackson gave Keelby a tight fought victory over Hartsholme II. After a good start, batting first, Hartsholme lost their last 6 wickets for 26 runs, Rick Mclellan returning 5 for 40 from 14 overs. 8 dismissals by hitting the stumps limited the home team to 150 all out in just under 44 overs. Sanjay Chauhan top scored with 45 in Keelby's last ball total of 151 for 9 from 46 overs (one over given by Hartsholme). Looking beaten at 85 for 7, Jim Cowie (29) and Paul Fytche (21 n.o.) took Keelby to 134 for 8 which then became 134 for 9. Fytche and Paul Jackson (13 n.o.) steered Keelby to the dramatic last ball victory and 20 points.
